Motivation will only get you so far in reaching your goals. Basically, long story short a little shot of energy that quickly fades away. The real trick is to change the way you feel about yourself. You need to change your self image so you no longer have resistance to the new you. The old you is trying to keep you stuck. Here are 3 tips that will help you re-program yourself to become the best version of yourself.

1. Dress Better

Perception is reality. How you dress is how the world will respond to you. It says a lot about how you feel about yourself.

2. Affirm in your mind that you already possess what you need to achieve

The only thing holding you back is your current model of who you think you are. Affirm everyday, “I am healthy, I Am Fit!” It seems strange and I felt that way to, but it really does help. The reason is your subconscious mind responds to repetition and will believe what it’s presented with regularly. In contrast, stop telling yourself negative things about yourself. Stop saying, ” I’m such a dummy or Oh man I can’t do anything right.” Your subconscious mind will create these situations in your life that will affirm that reality. It’s main function is to keep your model of reality consistent with your core beliefs. The good news is you can change the core beliefs.

3. Be grateful for all the good things you have in your life already

It’s impossible to stay positive and create momentum when your focused on everything you don’t already have. Instead, focus on what you already do have. Every morning take the time to write down in a journal 3-6 things that you are grateful for and 3-6 thing you’re grateful for that are coming to you. Just do it!
